Thank you got to come check in Colombia for their honeymoon. Here are my suggestions:
Day One:
Accommodation: Hotel Melia: http://www.solmelia.com/
* Not too expensive and very close to the attractions nearby. Also close to returning
1. Shop Around Berjaya Times Square / Lot Sg Wang / 10 / Star Hill
Second Day:
1. KL Tower
2. Shop in KLCC Twin Tower
Third day:
1. Bird Park
2. Petaling Street - China Town
3. Central Market - CRAF Malaysia & Gifts
Fourth day:
Only if you want the theme park
1. Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall
2. Sunway Lagoon (only if you like Theme Park)
So please do not go to:
1. Batu Caves
2. The rest of the day and your pockets
Day Five:
You can buy tickets Air Asia (budget airline) or Malaysia Airlines

Why not try to Kota Kinabalu, you can try another island, where will the trains and even a short bus ride to the orang-utan. Try it, you want to dive and swim around islands with the fish.
Try Nite Out at the bazaar around Kolam Nice kg of air for fine fashion sunglasses. HV has a beautiful last year.
I just back from Malaysia. 3 weeks.
My suggestion is "d: head to spend the time at each destination. I recommend Langkawi. And only 4 to 5 star (even if they pretty cheap in our range) is not right under your nose. So you can take a car RM 30-50 per day (do't rent equipment for swimming). good for the sweet memory, I think
Pangkor Laut is my choice
My recommendation is:

Genting - it is better to avoid the holiday honeymoon .. a simple no-no

Pulau Kapas is impressive, Redang Iceland is very good for shopping KL, Malacca, the oldest, Telok Chempedak Hyatt is impressive, for n Penang food culture, Sabah and Sarawak as well as for diving ..... GREEN Congratulations on your marriage N are a force.
